In 1937 dr Nowosielski built a villa where the last 2 floors served as the quest house for visitors from Silesia. The postcard showing dr Nowosielski’s villa dates from that time.
In 1939 Nowosielski’s family left for Lwów and never came back to Ustroń. During the second World War a hospital was set up in this building. After the war, the Treasury took over the building and it was transferred at the disposal of the Workers’ Holidays Fund. In 70’s a restaurant was added to the building. The whole complex was called „Relaxation”. In 1922 Nowosielski’s family regained their property. After 10 years dr Nowosielski’s inheritors sold the villa to the current owners who decided to renovate it. The general renovation of the building started in 2005. Its effects may be admired today. After 70 years this magnificent building regained its glamour and dignified appearance of the architecture of the thirties of 20th century.
